As a result of continued growth, Sydney Tools is seeking a Power Tool Repairer to join our team in Smithfield.

We are looking for a hands-on technician with an electrical or mechanical background who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will repair a range of leading brands including Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Yamaha, and Chicago, while liaising with both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Liaise with internal and external customers
n
- Maintain stock of parts
n
- Diagnose and repair cordless, electric, and hydraulic power tools and equipment
n
- Disassemble tools and use testing devices to identify faults
n
- Interpret technical manuals to determine required replacement parts and reassemble tools according to manufacturer guidelines
n
- Repair defective mechanical components and rewire electrical systems, including soldering and insulating wiring
n
- Use computer systems to manage job tracking and reporting
n

About You
n
n
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
n
- Demonstrated experience in power tool repair or small petrol engine repair
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Self-motivated with a robust work ethic
n
- Ability to meet deadlines and work to timelines
n
- Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities
n
- Competent computer skills
