We are seeking a skilled and experienced full-time FIRE SERVICE TECHNICIAN to join our

n

growing team in Sydney. Competitive salary negotiable depending on the experience and

n

qualifications.

Job tasks and responsibilities

n

The required candidate would be expected to undertake the following tasks:

n

- Fire detection& safety compliance testing andreport
n
- Testing of: Emergency lighting,Portable fire equipment,Fire door sets,Fire pump sets andSprinkler systems
n
- Be part of a team of hardworking and committed professionals, striving to set the benchmark in the fire industry
n
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure all work meets industry standards and guidelines
n
- Support the ongoing development and optimisation of our service delivery and internal systems
n

n

Skills and experience

n

What we are expecting from the right candidate:

- Complete understanding of AS1851 Fire Maintenance Standard
n
- Knowledge of testingfire panels, OWS, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire extinguishersand other fire equipment
n
- Commitment to quality and safety
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Professional, well presented & honest
n
- Highly motivated & driven with close attention to detail
n
- Ability to completegiven taskswithinagreed timeframe
n
- Represent and drive forward our business
n
- Strict adherence to the rules and regulations within thetrade and OH&S; policies and procedures
n
- Strong analytical and problem solving skillsli>
n
- No criminal records as many of our clients require a clean police check
n
- A valid driver's licence
n
- White card required
