About the Role

Working within a busy rural hospital, you'll gain exposure across:

- Emergency Department
n
- Acute Inpatient Care
n
- Rural Generalist Nursing
n

n

This role is ideal for nurses who are confident working autonomously and enjoy a diverse clinical environment.

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Rural nursing experience
n
- Emergency nursing experience
n
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
n
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
n
- Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience using ieMR
n
- Knowledge of FirstNet, PowerChart and HBCIS
n
- Previous Australian public health experience
n

n

Mandatory Requirements

n

n
- Medication management competency
n
- Manual handling
n
- Infection prevention and control
n
- Occupational Violence Prevention training
n
- Mandatory reporting training
n
- Willingness to complete any required online onboarding and electronic medical record training before commencement
n
