Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Bartender to join the team at Drift Bar in Caloundra, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers the chance to lead our bar operations.

As Head Bartender, you will be at the heart of our hospitality offering, managing bar staff, overseeing service standards, and ensuring every cocktail and beverage is crafted to perfection.

Key responsibilities

n

- Lead the bar team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and exceptional customer service
n
- Train and mentor bar staff on mixology techniques, product knowledge, and best practices in hospitality
n
- Monitor wastage
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons and handling any service-related issues professionally
n
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation and equipment maintenance standards
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a bartender
n
- Expert knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wines and beers
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop bar staff
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for customer service
n
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems
n
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced,



high-pressure environments whilst maintaining attention to detail
n
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
n
- Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain it prior to commencement
n
