Plumb & Level Masonry is a reputable masonry contractor delivering high-quality brickwork and blockwork across residential and commercial projects. We are currently seeking highly experienced Bricklayer Foreman to join our growing team in Concord, NSW.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Oversee and manage multiple bricklaying teams across various sites
n
- Coordinate daily activities of 50-60 bricklayers across different locations
n
- Set out work areas and allocate teams efficiently to meet program deadlines
n
- Liaise directly with builders, site supervisors, and project managers
n
- Monitor productivity, quality, and site performance across all teams
n
- Set out and lay bricks and blocks in accordance with drawings and specifications
n
- Deliver high-volume, high-quality brickwork with strong productivity output
n
- Lay various brick bonds and finishes includingn n
- Stretcher bond
n
- Stack bond
n
- Vertical stack bond
n
- Standard/common bonds
n
- Architectural details such as arches and bullnose
n
n
- Work with face brick, common brick, and blockwork
n
- Cut and shape bricks/blocks accurately to suit design requirements
n
- Ensure correct alignment, level, plumb, and structural integrity
n
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards
n
- Report progress, issues, and planning updates to Project / General Managers
n
- Drive high performance, accountability, and workmanship standards across crews
n
n
Required Skills and Experience
n
n
- A relevant Trade qualification and/or at least 1 to 3 years of employment experience, including leadership roles
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams across multiple sites
n
- Robust coordination and planning capability
n
- Excellent communication skills with builders, supervisors, and project managers
n
- High-level understanding of productivity targets, sequencing, and site logistics
n
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
n
n
This is a full time role, 38 hours per week, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $180,000 - $195,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate (depending on experience).
