Operating within a fast-paced production environment, this organisation is recognised for its commitment to quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement. This is a hands‐on leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to play a key role within the senior leadership team while leading a team of five across finance and payroll. This is an on‐site position, offering direct exposure to operations and the ability to influence business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of five across finance and payroll
n
- Managing month‐end close, financial reporting and forecasting processes
n
- Delivering business performance analysis and commercial insights
n
- Partnering closely with operational leaders to improve manufacturing performance and profitability
n
- Developing budgets, financial models and business plans
n
- Managing external audit requirements and stakeholder relationships
n
- Overseeing tax, compliance and statutory reporting obligations
n
- Reviewing contracts and identifying cost‐saving opportunities
n
- Driving process improvements and efficiencies across finance operations
n
- Supporting the ongoing optimisation of Oracle ERP processes and reporting
n

What you'll need to succeed
n
n
- CA or CPA qualified
n
- Previous experience leading finance teams within a manufacturing, industrial, agribusiness, FMCG or similar workplace
n
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
n
- Experience business partnering with operational stakeholders
n
- Advanced commercial acumen and analytical capability
n
- Oracle ERP experience highly regarded
n
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive, hands‐on approach and ability to thrive in a site‐based environment
n
