We're currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter to join our workshop team in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Install and inspect new and used cranes and hook loaders
n
- Fabricate and install subframes from design through to manufacture
n
- Complete installations to Palfinger's high standards
n
- Perform service and maintenance on vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
n
- Accurately complete all job documentation
n
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow site policies and procedures
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Previous experience in a similar industry
n
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
n
- Experience working on heavy vehicles
n
- Strong fabrication and welding skills
n
- Familiarity with cranes and/or hook loaders (advantageous)
n




- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- Proven ability to work safely and manage time effectively
n
- Competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
n
- Current driver's licence (HR preferred)
n
