About the role
n This is a systems-focused HSEQ role, not a hands-on site-based HSEQ Manager position. Our client has built a culture where Project Managers and Site Managers own safety on the ground. You'll provide the oversight, auditing, and governance behind them.

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Auditing projects and systems against ISO 9001 and other accredited standards
n
- Reviewing SWMS, risk assessments and project safety documentation
n
- Coordinating annual third-party accreditation audits (BSI)
n
- Leading incident investigations when required
n
- Preparing HSEQ reporting for management review meetings
n
- Assisting with implementation of the Federal Safety Accreditation system, working directly with a company founder

About you:

- Solid background in systems, processes and auditing (QA/QC highly regarded)
n
- Relevant safety qualifications and auditing competency
n
- Solid working knowledge of WHS regulations and codes of practice
n
- Strong administrative and reporting skills
n
- Construction background not essential, civil, mining, oil & gas or manufacturing backgrounds also considered
n
