Balmoral House Private Preschool is a boutique service licensed for 60 children.

We are committed to providing an educational program, which develops over time with the growth and needs of our children (0-5 years).

n

We support an emergent curriculum where play-based learning, intentional and spontaneous teaching are fundamental for nurturing children's learning and development.

n

We believe that high-quality early childhood education should be driven by dedicated educators and teachers who are committed to critical reflection, continuous improvement and professional development.

n

The successful applicant will have strong references. You will also present with a strong knowledge of the EYLF and the NQS and be able to articulate its practical application within the Service.

n

Ideal applicants will have:

n

Early childhood Diploma or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA) or actively studying towards

n

First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates and Working With Children Check

n

Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework

n

Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and implement the high quality, educational and child-centred program

n

An ability to document observations of children's behaviour and development

n

An ability to implement a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met

n

Exceptional relationship skills with families, children and other educators within the Service

n

Role:

n

Planning and implementing an educational program for childrenwhich reflects our play-based curriculum





n

Maintain ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information.

n

Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and ensuring high-quality practices that align with the National Quality Standards.

n

Working cooperatively with all team members and stakeholders in supporting curriculum implementation, critical reflection, professional development as well as individual goals and performance.

n

Permanent part-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) but can be versatile to promote work/life balance.
