Project Manager

We're partnering with a leading Australian organisation looking to bring on a Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, delivering a portfolio of technology projects within an established Agile PMO. A role bridging delivery teams and enterprise governance, making sure outcomes land on time, on budget and aligned to what the business actually needs.

The Opportunity

- Plan and deliver multiple concurrent technology projects using Agile delivery principles aligned to PMO standards
n
- Bridge agile delivery teams and enterprise oversight, keeping outcomes tied to business value and governance requirements
n
- Manage cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration between business and technical stakeholders
n
- Track progress against KPIs, milestones and deliverables, reporting to leadership and stepping in when delivery drifts
n
- Identify resource requirements and dependencies, and resolve constraints across competing priorities
n
- Own project budgets from cost estimation through to tracking and reporting
n
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks while maintaining compliance with internal standards and policy
n




- Act as the point of contact for project escalations across executives, business leaders, IT teams and external vendors
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practice across the PMO
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Minimum 5 years delivering projects, including at least 3 in Agile environments
n
- Track record managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
n
- Agile certification such as AgilePM, SAFe or PRINCE2 Agile
n
- Strong across project tooling including Jira, Confluence, MS Project and Azure DevOps
n
- Career background in technology roles, with working knowledge across infrastructure, networks, cloud and cyber security
n
- Expert test and QA discipline, owning test strategy, planning, execution and defect management
n
- Experience with organisational change management
n
- Solid facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder communication
n
- Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, banking, legal, healthcare or government highly regarded
n
- Working knowledge of LLMs, GenAI and agentic AI an advantage
n
