We're looking for an experienced and motivated Service Advisor / Parts Salesperson to join our busy truck dealership team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in trucks, automotive, agricultural machinery, parts or mechanical service who enjoys working with customers and being part of a hands-on team.

n

You'll be the link between our customers, workshop and parts department – helping keep trucks on the road and our customers moving.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Booking trucks in for servicing, repairs and maintenance
n
- Liaising with customers regarding repairs, costs and expected completion times
n
- Preparing job cards, quotes and invoices
n
- Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
n
- Identifying, sourcing and selling truck parts
n
- Handling parts enquiries over the phone, counter and email
n
- Ordering and receipting stock
n
- Working closely with technicians to ensure the correct parts are available
n
- Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
n




- Helping keep the workshop and parts department running smoothly
n

What we're looking for

n

You don't need to know everything on day one, but you'll ideally have:

n

n
- Experience in truck, automotive, diesel, agricultural or parts/service environments
n
- Positive mechanical knowledge or an interest in heavy vehicles
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills
n
- Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
n
- Good computer and administration skills
n
- The ability to stay organised when things get busy
n
- A positive, practical and team-focused attitude
n

n

Previous Service Advisor, Parts Interpreter or Parts Sales experience would be highly regarded.
