The Workshop Manager plays a vital role in managing cost of goods, procurement, health and safety, and overall workshop efficiency. You will oversee the workshop operation and report to the Chief Operations Officer.
Key responsibilities
Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and consumables, coordinate procurement activities to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure timely delivery of products to quality standards
Monitor and control costs related to workshop operations, including labour, materials, and overhead expenses
Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery to ensure optimal performance and uptime
Manage health and safety protocols including regular safety training and toolbox talks for floor staff to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols
