Our client is a rapidly growing quantity surveying and construction consultancy with an established presence across the Australian market. They provide quantity surveying, cost management and commercial advisory services across a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with developers, investors, asset owners and other key project stakeholders.

About the Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality quantity surveying and cost management services across a diverse portfolio of projects.
You will be responsible for
- Managing financial reporting, cost reporting and forecasting across a portfolio of projects.
- Preparing, assessing and managing progress claims and payment schedules.
- Conducting regular site visits to assess construction progress and completed works.
- Providing commercial and cost management advice directly to clients and project stakeholders.
- Managing variations, cost assessments and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Building strong client relationships while supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
Experience Required
- 4+ years' experience within quantity surveying, cost management or a related construction/commercial environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in financial reporting and progress claims.
- Previous experience within a consultancy environment is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, variations and project financials.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
