Pre-delivery Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitter

Quayside Motors is expanding and seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pre-Delivery Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitter. This role is crucial for ensuring that new vehicles are prepared to the highest standard before delivery.

n

Previous experience in the automotive industry is desirable but not essential. Experience in a similar role or industry is a plus. Being skilled with hands-on work and having a practical approach is important for success in this role.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:06 PM, Monday to Friday (No Weekends!)

n

The role: As a Pre-Delivery Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitter, your key responsibilities include:

n

- Ensuring all required accessories are fitted to vehicles before delivery: One of the key tasks is to ensure all accessories are installed according to specifications.
n
- Completing a checklist to prepare new cars for delivery.
n
- Performing final checks to ensure all accessories are fitted correctly.
n
- Fitting accessories such as tow bars, nudge bars, protection accessories, and alloy trays.
n




- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow processes precisely within tight timeframes.
n
- Practical, hands-on skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
n
- Good time management and organizational skills.
n
- Ability to read, complete, and manage job sheets, and book cars in efficiently.
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
n

Qualifications:

n

- Previous experience in the automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
n
- Experience with vehicle accessories or similar industry is a plus.
n
- Valid Australian manual driver's license with a clean driving record.
