Are you a commercially driven leader with a passion for parts sales, customer engagement, and business growth? We are seeking an experienced National Spare Parts Manager to lead and grow our spare parts business across Australia.
Reporting to the Business Manager - Operations, this senior leadership role is responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic sales, marketing initiatives, customer relationship management, and operational excellence.
About the Role
As the National Spare Parts Manager, you will lead the national spare parts function, taking ownership of performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Service teams to develop and execute strategies that strengthen market position and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Commercial Performance
- Own and manage the national Parts Profit & Loss (P&L;).
- Develop and implement national sales and marketing strategies.
- Drive revenue growth through pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and business development initiatives.
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
- Develop annual and long-term strategic plans for the parts business.
- Partner with Finance to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Manage inventory performance, including slow-moving and obsolete stock.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and key customers.
- Support internal stakeholders, including Service Centres, to drive future growth.
- Ensure outstanding customer service across all parts operations.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help maximise dealer network performance through effective support and engagement.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop the Customer Engagement Supervisor - Parts and support the establishment and growth of the regional Parts Sales team.
- Coach, mentor, and empower team members to achieve business objectives.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics aligned with service, sales, and profitability goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.
About You
- Proven experience in parts sales, marketing, customer service, or aftermarket management.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L; management experience.
- A track record of delivering profitable business growth.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with SAP experience highly regarded.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with high energy and drive.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Other Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required.
