With a strong pipeline of BESS and HV infrastructure projects, the business is strengthening its project delivery team to support continued growth and successful construction outcomes.

Your New Role

n

As the Civil Project Engineer, you will take responsibility for the civil delivery of utility scale BESS projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

n

You will coordinate subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders, manage site activities and resolve technical and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.

n

This role is suited to a Civil Site/Project Engineer with strong end-to-end project delivery experience across BESS or HV infrastructure who can combine technical civil knowledge with strong subcontractor and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the civil delivery of utility scale BESS projects from pre-construction through to completion
n




- Manage civil subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders across project delivery
n
- Oversee a broad range of civil works including earthworks, bulk works, geotechnical works, piling, foundations and associated civil requirements
n
- Manage site activities, resolve technical and construction issues and identify solutions to maintain project progress
n
- Coordinate civil delivery with electrical, engineering and construction teams while managing risks, quality and programme

Your Experience

n

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Civil Engineering degree with robust end-to-end project delivery experience
n
- Experience delivering utility-scale BESS projects, ideally 5MW+ or larger
n
- Broad civil construction experience including earthworks, geotechnical works, piling and foundations, with knowledge of FRP and CBR requirements
n
- Strong experience leading subcontractors and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
n
- HV substation project experience will also be highly regarded
n
