Ideally suited to an Associate levelDesign Architect with 8+ years of postgraduate experience, you'll have the chance to work closely with a design team who are really taking things to the next level.

Working from their highly regarded city fringe studio, this group has a number of projects kicking off across a variety of scales, so it's the perfect time to join and reinforce your design involvement and reputation.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Registered Architect in Victoria
n
- 8+ years' experience working within a design led practice
n
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills – visual, verbal, written, listening
n
- Hands on skills in ArchiCAD (or a willingess to train in ArchiCAD)
n
- Solid visualisation skills using Adobe Creative Suite
n
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and planning ordinances
n
- Creative problem-solving skills, high attention to detail
n

Although depth of experience is preferred, there is the potential that a super star with around 5 years' experience could suffice. It goes without saying that your portfolio would have to be something special to demonstrate your design prowess!

Responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Developing and communicating strong design narratives
n
- Preparing concept/sketch designs and feasibility studies
n
- Undertaking various Urban Design and Master Planning tasks
n
- Assisting and working with technical teams through detail design, design development,



planning application submissions and construction documentation
n
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and sustainability initiatives
n
- Relating designs to relevant codes, BCA and local council requirements
n
- Collaborating with clients, consultants and various stakeholders
n
- Mentoring and supporting junior architects and designers
n
- Comprehension of project brief needs and scope vs fee structure
n
- Contributing to the firm's design philosophy and thought leadership
n

This is a permanent, full-time, career driven role with salary expectations in the range of $115,000 plus Superannuation.
