THE ROLE AT A GLANCE
n
We're looking for a Nightclub and Event Manager who understands that great events are about much more than getting people through the door.
n
You'll be responsible for overseeing the event experience across our two main event spaces, Goodwill Club (250 capacity) and Rechabite Hall (799 capacity), while acting as a key point of contact for event bookers, artists, organisers and guests.
n
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll lead from the front, supporting our box office team as they welcome guests, manage ticketing and prepare spaces.
n
In addition, you'll work with our programming and production team to look after booking clients, artists and organisers, ensuring worksheet requirements are delivered on time, backstage areas are maintained to a high standard and day‐of needs are addressed.

This role requires someone who is exceptionally positive with people, motivated to deliver wow‐factor service and driven to get the job done.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to build lasting qualified relationships.
n
- Previous success in a customer service / client‐facing role.
n
- Flexible availability including regular weekend hours and late night (3am) finishes as required.
n
- Experience supervising and/or leading a small team.
n
- Strong organisation and time‐management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a busy environment.
n
- The physical capacity to move quickly between our four levels, maintaining high‐energy across event hours and assisting with light lifting/moving as part of event set‐up.
n
- An eye for detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
n

HIGHLY REGARDED
n
n
- Previous experience in artist‐liaison, box office and/or hospitality supervisory roles.
n
- Experience working in a live music, arts or events environment.
n
- A background in hospitality, the arts or venue management.
n
- Previous success working collaboratively at a departmental level.
n
