- Permanent / Full Time
n
- Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, 9 day fortnight
n
- $82,943per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site Allowance + Leading Hand Allowance 2) + Superannuation

- Location – Rockhampton

Your new role
n
Step into a hands-on leadership role where history comes to life. As theMaintenance and Livestock Team Leader, you'll take the reins of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and restoring a vibrant Heritage Village, preserving the past while creating memorable visitor experiences.
n
This is more than just maintenance. From restoring artefacts and caring for livestock to overseeing site presentation and supporting community events, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how the community connects with its heritage. You'll lead, mentor and coordinate staff and volunteers, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality operations across the site.
n

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop staff and volunteers
n
- Experience in handyman, maintenance and/or restoration work
n
- Experience working with livestock, including horses and animal care practices
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
n
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, with sound problem solving and decision-making skills
n
n
