About the Role:

n

Our client is currently seeking qualified Boilermakers/Welders (Metal Fabricators) to join their team in Queensland. This is an excellent prospect for experienced tradespeople to contribute to high impact industrial and structural projects in a technically advanced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- -Interpret technical plans and drawings to perform welding and fabrication tasks;
n
- -Cut, shape,



and assemble structural steel components;
n
- -Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding according to specifications;
n
- -Inspect completed welds and components to ensure they meet industry standards;
n
- -Work with various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium;
n
- -Operate welding and fabrication machinery, including power and hand tools;
n
- -Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workspace;
n
- -Collaborate with supervisors and trade colleagues to ensure timely project delivery;
n
- -Mentor apprentices and junior team members as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

n

n
- -Trade qualification in welding, metal fabrication, or boilermaking;
n
- -Minimum of 1 year of experience in welding or steel fabrication;
n
- -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;
n
- -Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding (highly regarded);
n
- -Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills;
n
- -Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards;
n
- -Team player with excellent communication skills.
