We're looking for a Store Manager who wants to build something special. You'll help shape the venue, recruit and train your team and be at the forefront of Melbourne hospitality.
What you will need:
The ambition and drive to help build a venue aiming for the world's top 100
A proven track record managing a high-volume or award-recognised hospitality venue
Strong front of house and floor management experience, ideally in specialty coffee or premium café settings
Involvement in new venue openings ideal but not required
Passion for and knowledge of the hospitality industry as well as continually pushing the benchmark
Strong leadership skills to recruit, train and inspire a high-performing front of house team
A firm grasp of venue compliance, RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety
Understanding of budgets, labour costing, stock control and wastage
Confident handling of POS, daily reconciliation and reporting
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as a café roster demands
What you'll be responsible for:
Lead the daily running of the venue across open, service and close
Work with ownership to deliver a seamless, world-class guest experience
Recruit, train, roster and mentor the front of house team to a consistently high standard
Drive sales, manage budgets and hit labour and cost targets
Manage ordering, stock rotation and wastage across bar and retail
Handle daily cash and POS reconciliation, banking and reporting
Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented venue at all times
Uphold all food safety, hygiene, RSA and compliance standards
Build and lead the culture that sets the venue apart
