Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a leading food manufacturing business?
n We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing manufacturing site on a permanent night shift roster, working 7 days per fortnight on 12-hour shifts.
n The OpportunityYou'll be responsible for keeping a busy food manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently, working across a range of production, packaging and processing equipment.
n This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically skilled tradesperson who enjoys a hands-on role and wants the benefits of a permanent night shift roster with plenty of time off.

About the Role
n
n
- Permanent night shift position
n
- 7 days per fortnight
n
- All shifts are 12 hours
n
- Preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
n
- Fault finding, breakdown response and repairs
n
- Mechanical maintenance of production and packaging equipment
n
- Equipment servicing and continuous improvement
n
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
n
About You
n
n
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent
n
- Previous experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing environments
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and automated production equipment
n
- Ability to work independently on night shift
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
n
