- About the Role Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function across a multi-entity business, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Managing the full end-to-end payroll function of 260 employees
n
- Processing monthly superannuation, including salary sacrifice contributions
n
- Calculating, reporting and paying PAYG Withholding and Payroll Tax
n
- Managing internal commissions and maintaining accurate account balances
n
- Preparing end-of-month payroll and commission journals and adjustments
n
- Managing annual payroll requirements, including PAYG Payment Summaries, Taxable Payments Reports, Q Leave and Payroll Tax Annual Returns
n
- Responding to and resolving payroll queries
n
- Maintaining accurate employee records and files
n
- Supporting year-end audit requirements
n
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes
n
- Providing support to the Accounts Payable and broader finance team when required
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who is confident managing payroll from start to finish and enjoys being the go-to person for all things payroll.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
- 2-3+ years' experience managing end-to-end payroll
n
- Experience working across a multi-entity payroll environment
n
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, taxation and remuneration
n
- Experience with superannuation and salary sacrifice contributions
n
- Strong PAYG and Payroll Tax knowledge
n
- Intermediate Excel skills
n
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to improve processes
n
