Senior RF Hardware Engineer

Location: Sydney, NSW
n Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 pa + Super

Brief Intro

n

An established Australian technology business is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to develop and optimise RF electronics for manufactured products. The role covers RF circuit design, prototyping, testing and product development through to production.

Key Skills/Experience

n

n
- 8+ years' engineering experience, ideally within electronics manufacturing or consumer products.
n
- Strong RF circuit design experience across amplifiers, filters, mixers and oscillators.
n
- 5+ years designing and testing RF, analogue, digital or mixed-signal PCBs.
n
- Proficiency with Altium; experience with ADS and/or LTspice highly regarded.
n
- RF simulation, prototyping, PCBA bring-up, debugging and integration testing.
n




- Confident using spectrum analysers, signal generators, power meters and oscilloscopes.
n
- Knowledge of analogue/digital modulation including AM, FM and C4FM.
n
- Experience with component selection, schematic design, PCB layout and Design for Manufacturing.
n
- Robust technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
n
- Experience taking products through development and into production.
n
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
n
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
