Your Role
n
Looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference in people's lives? As a Support Centre Coordinator, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a Vinnies Support Centre in Auburn, a welcoming space that provides essential assistance, referral services and community connection to people doing it tough. This is a leadership role where you'll guide volunteers, support clients with complex needs and work alongside community partners to deliver meaningful impact.

Your Responsibility
n
n
- Lead the daily operations of the Support Centre, ensuring high-quality client services.
n
- Manage and support a team of volunteers and staff, fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
n
- Coordinate emergency relief activities including food pantry, vouchers, and referrals.
n
- Work directly with clients, assessing needs, offering support and connecting them to appropriate services.
n
- Build strong community partnerships with local organisations, government services, and healthcare providers.
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and financial assistance policies.
n
- Report on centre activities and contribute to strategic and operational planning.
n

You Will Need
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, welfare,
psychology, education or a related field.
n
- Experience working with disadvantaged communities and strong assessment skills.
n
- Proven ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers.
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
- Experience managing volunteers and delivering training.
n
- Computer literacy and effective time management skills.
n
- A current NSW Driver Licence.
n
