We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Estimator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable estimator who enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment and wants to play an integral role in securing and delivering successful civil construction projects.

About the Role

n

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of civil construction projects. Working closely with management, project teams, subcontractors and suppliers, you will play a key role from initial tender review through to project award and handover.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Reviewing project plans, specifications, scopes and tender documentation
n
- Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tenders
n
- Developing competitive and commercially sound pricing strategies
n
- Preparing subcontractor and supplier packages and obtaining quotations
n
- Conducting quantity take-offs and analysing project costs
n
- Identifying project risks, exclusions, opportunities and potential variations
n
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
n
- Participating in tender negotiations and clarification processes
n
- Working closely with Project Managers and Construction Teams during project handover
n
- Maintaining accurate estimating records and ensuring deadlines are met
n




- Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is experienced, commercially minded and confident in their estimating ability.

n

n
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within civil construction
n
- Robust knowledge of civil construction methodologies, materials and costs
n
- Experience estimating projects from $1M through to major civil projects
n
- Excellent understanding of plans, specifications and contract documentation
n
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
n
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
n
- A strong commercial understanding and ability to identify project risks and opportunities
n
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
n
- A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and the ability to work independently
n
