Lead Software Delivery Manager

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of strategic customer accounts while leading and developing a team of Delivery Managers.

n

You'll remain close to delivery, own outcomes across multiple enterprise customers, step into complex situations when required, and help build a more predictable and commercially disciplined delivery function.

n

This role will suit someone who enjoys customer-facing delivery, leading people, solving complex problems, and operating in environments where priorities shift and not everything is fully defined.

The Opportunity

n

n
- Lead delivery across multiple enterprise customer accounts
n
- Manage strategic software implementation programmes and portfolios valued between $5m and $15m+
n
- Own delivery outcomes across scope, timelines, budget, quality and customer satisfaction
n
- Act as the escalation point for complex delivery challenges and at-risk engagements
n
- Directly manage and coach a team of Delivery Managers
n
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and capability development activities
n
- Provide delivery assurance across multiple accounts and intervene when delivery, customer or commercial outcomes are at risk
n
- Balance customer expectations, delivery constraints, commercial outcomes and business priorities
n
- Drive stronger delivery discipline, forecasting, reporting and accountability across the portfolio
n
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering and Executive stakeholders
n
- Build trusted customer relationships while maintaining commercial and delivery accountability
n
- Contribute to the ongoing development of delivery practices as the business continues to grow
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Experience delivering complex SaaS, enterprise software, ERP, workforce management or configurable platform implementations
n
- Experience managing external enterprise customers through large-scale software delivery programmes
n
- Direct people leadership experience managing Delivery Managers, Project Managers or equivalent senior delivery professionals
n
- Experience conducting performance management, coaching and capability development
n
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts or delivery portfolios simultaneously
n
- Strong commercial ownership across budgets, revenue, margin, forecasting and customer outcomes
n
- Experience delivering programmes or portfolios valued at $5m+
n
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive-level customers
n
- Experience making trade-off decisions across competing customer, delivery and commercial priorities
n
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and ambiguity exists
n
- Strong delivery leadership combined with a hands-on approach to execution
n
- Experience managing escalations and difficult customer conversations
n
