Rogers Construction Group (RCG) is a privately owned Sydney-based commercial construction company delivering projects across NSW, with offices in Bella Vista, Wollongong and Newcastle, and recently expanded into Melbourne.

We specialise in Education, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Social and Government Housing, Government, Industrial, Corporate and Residential projects up to $20m. Our business is experiencing significant, controlled growth, built on strong client relationships and a reputation for delivering quality outcomes.

As part of this growth, we're building out our Newcastle team and are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join us. This is a genuine chance to help establish RCG's presence in the region, running sites for a growing pipeline of projects across the Hunter region and beyond, with the full backing of our established Sydney business.

About the Role

n

The Site Manager will run the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on program and to a high standard of quality. You'll be the key on-site point of contact for the project team, subcontractors and clients as we grow our Newcastle presence.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Ensuring the project program is always on track
n
- Coordinating workflow and look-ahead planning
n
- Reading plans and setting out when required
n
- Supervising and advising staff and contractors
n
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are up to code
n




- Ensuring materials and machinery are delivered on time
n
- Handling subcontractors
n
- Liaising with clients and the Project Manager to ensure communication is sound
n
- A 6-day working week where required
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Site Manager on multi-disciplinary construction projects
n
- Experience delivering both new build and refurbishment projects valued between $2m and $20m
n
- Experience across Education, Government, Commercial, Industrial, Aged Care/Retirement Living and Residential sectors
n
- A trade background
n
- A strong track record in the NSW construction market
n
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
n
- Excellent time management skills
n
- Procore and Hammertech experience preferred
n
- Committed, experienced and passionate about delivering great outcomes
n
