The Deputy General Counsel provides high-quality legal advice and support across ARENA’s operations, with a focus on funding agreements, commercial contracts, governance and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring ARENA’s legal obligations are met, and that strategic and operational decisions are legally sound and commercially viable.
This opportunity is being offered as 9-month fixed term contract.

Employment framework and classification
ARENA employees are engaged under the Australian Renewable Energy Agency Act 2011. They are not the same as Australian Public Service (APS) employees, who are employed under the Public Service Act 1999.
ARENA’s employment conditions and classifications may differ from those of APS departments and agencies.
