About the Role
n
Joining a tight-knit team of 3, you will partner with functional and operational stakeholders to provide practical H&S; advice, coaching, and risk management leadership. Reporting to the Safety Lead, you will spend 2 days at Cockburn PS, 2 days at Pinjar PS, and have the flexibility to choose your site for the 5th day.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Deliver practical H&S; guidance and coach site personnel on proactive risk management.
n
- Conduct incident investigations, analyse data, and build clear safety reports.
n
- Apply risk management tools, interpreting risk matrices, likelihood, and consequences.
n
- Monitor compliance against H&S; standards, systems, and WHS legislation.
n
- Utilize internal H&S; software to log and manage hazards and corrective actions.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
- Influential Communicator: Ability to guide decision-making through coaching and influence rather than top-down policing.
n
- Relationship Builder: Confident engaging with recent stakeholders and managing tough conversations constructively.
n
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of risk matrices, incident investigation processes (ICAM preferred), and relevant WHS legislation.
n
- Autonomy & Literacy: Self-motivated, computer literate, and able to work independently across operational sites.
n
- Background: Experience in power generation, resources, or heavy industrial operations with a valid WA 'C' Class driver's licence.
n
