What will you do?
n
n
- Master food preparation, cooking and presentation to Varsity quality standards.
n
- Follow recipes and kitchen guides.
n
- Ensure correct portion control.
n
- Ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
n
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen, that adheres to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
Also ensuring staff are following the kitchen cleaning systems.
n
- Participate in all technical aspects of cooking including but not limited to grilling, deep frying, and cooking meat and poultry.
n
- Work across all stations in the kitchen including prep, fry, grill, pizza and salad stations.
n
- Ensure dietary requirements are catered for in a safe manner.
n
- Support with stock rotation, making sure our ingredients are as fresh as can be for our guests.

- Deliver food and service to Varsity standards.
n
- Support the training of the kitchen team.
n
- Bring a passion for food and a positive attitude to every shift.

What Will You Bring?

- Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred
n
- Infectious enthusiasm and positivity.
n
- A can-do attitude.
n
- A love of good food and positive times.
n
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential.
