The Senior Advisor, Internal Communications

is a key member of the Internal Communications team,partnering withteamsacross the Qantas Group to deliver explicit,engagingand effective communication that supports business priorities and employee engagement.

Workingclosely with the Senior Manager, Internal Communications,you’lldevelop communication strategies, create high-qualitycontentandprovidetrusted advice to stakeholders acrossa number ofcorporate portfolios.You’llsupportthe delivery of key business updates, employee campaigns, leadershipcommunicationsand events,helping employees stay connected to our strategy, understand what matters most across the Group and feel informed about the initiatives shaping our future.

You’llalsowork closely with colleagues across Corporate Affairs, People and Government Relations, support crisis and issues communications whenrequired, and use audience insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of our channels and communications.

You’llhave –

- Five or more years communications experience in a large corporate or agency, including
- employee and HR program communications
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications,Journalismor a related discipline




- Exceptionalwriting and editing skills, with experience producing content for largeinternal audiences and the abilityto turn complex information into clear, engaging communication.
- Experience advising and influencing stakeholders at a range of levels, includingsenior leaders.
- Sound understanding of internal communication channels and how to engage diverse employee audiences.
- Experience supporting organisational change, transformation, issues management or crisis communications.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strongself drive,creativityand flexibility, with a positive, can-do attitude and areadiness to tackle new challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- High levelsof professionalism,discretionand attention to detail
