An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Interventional Radiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

n

n
- Assist the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in leading and coordinating the Interventional Radiology team
n
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional leadership to Registered and Enrolled nurses
n
- Coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical practice standard guidelines, procedures, and protocols
n
- Act as a primary contact and support for bookings and referrals.
n
- Integrate key objectives from the health service strategic plan for Radiology into service delivery
n

About you

n

To be successful in this position you will require:

n

n
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
n
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

- Base salary ranging from $140,632 - $152,685 per annum

The GCHHS Medical Imaging service delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The service provides a Level 6 Service at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) providing on-site interventional and neuro-interventional procedures, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services.
