- Roster: 8/6 12hr shifts

- Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety awareness.
n
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor procedural systems, processes, and training in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
n
- Conducting verification of competency assessments for all employees to ensure skill requirements are met.
n
- Undertake regular inspections and task observations to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.
n
- Inspect and manage emergency equipment and systems in the underground workplace.
n

n

Experience:

n

n
- Underground production experience in a mechanised hard rock underground environment
n
- Detailed working knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Workplace Health and Safety (Mining) Regulations
n
- Demonstrated experience in competency based training and assessment methods
n
- Previous exposure to incident investigation, auditing processes and workplace inspections
n




- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within all levels of the business
n
- Intermediate competency in excel and presentation applications
n

n

Qualifications:

n

n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
n
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (essential)
n
- Minimum "C" class Manual unencumbered drivers licence
n
