About The Role

n

This role will assist the Senior Financial Accountant with a range of responsibilities, including the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and year-end audits. You will oversee balance sheet reconciliations, period-end accruals, transaction reviews, financial reporting and analysis. You will also provide broader support to then Finance team across all areas of finance, including bank reconciliations and fixed asset processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

- Perform monthly finance procedures and processes, including the preparation and review of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
n




- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review monthly accruals and standard journals.
n
- Assist with compliance requirements, including statutory accounts, BAS, and tax returns.
n
- Support the year-end process and annual audit.
n
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
n
- Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis to provide actionable insights.
n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- 5+ years of proven experience in Accounting roles, demonstrating a robust understanding of financial principles and reporting.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Accounting software.
n
- Knowledge of financial statement preparation, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
n
- Demonstrates self-motivation and maintains high productivity levels, consistently delivering quality work even under tight deadlines.
n
- Experience in retail or distribution environment.
n
- CPA or CA qualification.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
n
