Job Description

Krueger Transport Equipment is looking for experienced Boilermakers to join our manufacturing team in Truganina, Victoria. You'll work hands-on with heavy steel, fabricating and building components that form part of our locally manufactured trailers and transport equipment.

About the Role

n

n
- Fabricating and assembling heavy steel components and structures.
n
- Reading and working from engineering drawings, measurements and specifications.
n
- Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping and fitting materials prior to assembly.
n
- Carrying out MIG welding as part of the fabrication process.
n
- Using grinders, cutting equipment, hand tools and workshop machinery.
n
- Checking dimensions, alignment and completed work against specifications.
n
- Identifying and rectifying fabrication or fit-up issues where required.
n
- Producing work to Krueger's quality and production standards.
n
- Working safely and contributing to an efficient workshop environment.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- A relevant Boilermaker / Engineering – Fabrication Trade qualification, or equivalent.
n
- Previous experience in boilermaking,



structural steel or heavy fabrication.
n
- Strong fabrication, fitting and MIG welding skills.
n
- Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
n
- Experience working with heavy steel and fabricating components to specification.
n
- Good measurement and practical problem-solving skills.
n
- A strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail.
n
- The ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
n

Experience in trailer manufacturing, heavy vehicles, transport equipment or a similar heavy engineering environment will be highly regarded.
