Lake Macquarie is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Cardiac Ward. This is an exciting prospect to work in a high-acuity environment caring for patients undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures.

Permanent, full-time opportunity available, working night duty.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in a fast-paced cardiac environment
n
- Monitor and manage post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
n
- Care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology and structural heart procedures
n
- Perform cardiac monitoring and recognise/respond to patient deterioration
n
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
n
- Support patients and families through recovery and education
n
- You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery in alignment with hospital policies.
n
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum of 12 monthscardiac experience
n
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
n
- Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
n
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
n

Remuneration

n

A competitive salary:



A base hourly rate of $40.24 - $56.52+ superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*NSW RN/Midwife Gr1-Gr8*)
