We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Driver (Rigid) to join our Butler team.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for a stable, long-term role with a reputable Australian-owned business. You will play an important role in ensuring our products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service to our customers.

About the Role

n

Based at our Butler branch, you will be responsible for delivering roofing and steel products to customers across the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions.

n

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle, loading and unloading products, securing loads, and assisting with general yard and warehouse duties when required.

n

This is a full-time position with a 6:00 am start, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Safely and efficiently delivering products to customers across the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions
n
- Loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment and safe manual handling practices
n
- Ensuring all loads are properly secured and transported in accordance with safety and compliance requirements
n
- Completing vehicle checks and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard
n
- Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery locations
n
- Ensuring delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately
n
- Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
n




- Following all company safety policies and procedures

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- A valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence
n
- Previous experience driving rigid vehicles, preferably in a delivery environment
n
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
n
- Good knowledge of Perth metropolitan roads and surrounding areas
n
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist with general yard and warehouse duties when required
n

Desirable

n

n
- Current Forklift Licence
n
- Experience within steel, building products, manufacturing, construction, roofing, or related industries
n
- Experience with delivery of long or oversized building products
n
- Knowledge of load restraint requirements and safe loading practices
n
