We are currently seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our Carmichael Mine operations on a 7/7 rotating roster.

About the Role

n

As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient servicing of heavy earthmoving tyres and wheel assemblies across our mining fleet.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Carrying out tyre rotations, pressure checks and tyre inspections
n
- Removing and fitting heavy earthmoving tyres, wheels and rim assemblies
n




- Recording tyre usage and maintenance information accurately
n
- Conducting tyre and wheel inspections in accordance with site requirements
n
- Working independently while following direction and established procedures
n
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing to practical solutions
n
- Maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
n

What You'll Need

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Significant experience fitting heavy earthmoving/off-the-road tyres
n
- AURKTJ011 – Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving/off-the-road tyres
n
- AURKTJ012 – Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving/off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
n
- RIIMPO208F – Operate support equipment
n
- RIISAM202E – Isolate and access plant
n
- RIISAM301F – Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
n
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical, or willingness to obtain
n
- Current Standard 11, or willingness to obtain
n
- A robust commitment to safety
n
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
