CSBS is seeking an experienced and values-driven Team Leader to provide leadership across two Supported Independent Living (SIL) services in Ipswich.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting adults with complex disability and health support needs while guiding, mentoring, and coordinating a team of Support Workers to deliver safe, person-centred, high-quality supports.
n
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of both homes, ensuring participants receive supports that reflect their goals, choices, rights, and aspirations while maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational requirements.

About the Role
n
This full time position combines direct participant support with leadership, coaching, and service coordination responsibilities across two SIL homes.
n
You'll provide operational oversight, support quality outcomes for participants, and build a positive, capable team culture that promotes dignity, independence, inclusion, and meaningful community participation.
n
Your Role May Include
n
n
- Leading and mentoring Support Workers across two SIL sites
n
- Delivering hands-on support to participants with complex disability and health support needs
n
- Conducting staff supervision, reflective practice sessions, and performance conversations
n
- Liaising with families, nominees, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders
n
- Supporting participant choice and decision-making regarding their homes, routines, and supports
n
- Monitoring documentation, reporting, and compliance requirementsManaging household purchasing, consumables, and approved budgets
n
- Promoting Positive Behaviour Support practices and safe support delivery
n
- Ensuring supports are delivered in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards and CSBS policies and procedures
n

You are an experienced disability professional who enjoys developing others and leading by example.
n
You can balance participant-focused support with operational responsibilities, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach in complex environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Queensland Blue Card
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
- Reliable insured vehicle
n
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or similar (or willingness to undertake)
