Logistics Officer – Warehouse

Mount Barker | 6-Month Contract | Full-Time | $44.29 per hour + Super

We are looking for a hands‐on Logistics Officer to join a busy Supply Chain team in Mount Barker on an initial 6‐month contract, commencing as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory experience who enjoys practical, hands‐on work and working as part of a team.

The Role

n

You will be responsible for the day‐to‐day running of warehouse and stores activities, including:

n

n
- Picking, packing and dispatching materials and equipment
n
- Receiving, storing and handling stock safely
n
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
n
- Conducting stocktakes and stock adjustments
n
- Processing orders, requisitions and inventory transactions
n
- Assisting internal teams and suppliers with logistics and procurement requirements
n
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and secure
n




- Ensuring correct materials handling and storage procedures are followed
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a warehouse/stores environment.

n

You will need:

n

n
- Previous experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory operations
n
- Current Driver's Licence (Class C)
n
- Current forklift/high-risk licence
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
n
- Ability to work safely, follow procedures and work independently
n

n

Forklift experience is highly desirable.
