Reporting to the State Finance Manager, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys transactional accounting, reconciliations, problem-solving and supporting a busy operational business. Your primary focus will be maintaining accurate financial transactions and reconciliations while supporting reporting, compliance and business operations.

Key responsibilities

n

- Manage day-to-day finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journals, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
n
- Support reporting and compliance requirements, assisting with month-end processes, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, audits and statutory obligations.
n
- Partner with the broader business, supporting group reporting, collaborating with operational teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

n

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting,



Finance or a related discipline.
n
- Minimum three years' experience in finance or accounting.
n
- Robust accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation experience.
n
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
n
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems.
n
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and statutory obligations.
n
- Proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
n
- Build positive stakeholder relationships, work collaboratively and maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
