OHS Compliance Manager with Cert IV (OHS), ICAM and 5 years' experience, 3+ years in construction or projects in the Defence sector.
n
Base Criteria
n
You will hold a Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety with at least 5 years' experience delivering OHS compliance across a large Defence, Federal Government or Critical Setting / or data centre sites undergoing new build construction, refurbishment or upgrades.
n
Outline Duties
n
As the service contractor's representative, you will protect their interests undertaking a review of the Principal's OHS Policy, Site Risk Assessments, Program of Works and ensure you provide to the Principal your OHS Policy, Site Risk Assessments, Program of Works and Sub-contractor licencing.
n
You will monitor KPI's: - LTI's / MTI's, review the Program of Work for potential OHS risks (including: - close working proximity of trades and very tight schedules to meet deadlines).
n
You will fulfil an advisory and consultative role providing recommendations, suggestions and guidance to your Project Delivery Team and Senior Management, as well as your Head-office OHS team.
n
You will undertake weekly written reporting to the Stakeholders, from Principal through to your Head-office and your sub-contractors, highlighting concerns, recommendations and KPI reporting.

Skills and Attributes
n
n
- Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety
n
- Australian Citizen (ideally with NV1)
n
- 5 years' experience delivering OHS compliance
n
- Ideally 3 years' experience driving Health & Safety Compliance within a Construction, Project Management or Facilities Management environment working on Defence, Federal Government or Critical Environments / Data Centre new buildings and upgrades.
n
- Strong experience in monitoring and tracking of OHS KPI's.
n
- Excellent client communication skills, interactive style of management and consultative approach.
n
- 4+ years' experience in generating detailed weekly reports, advisories and making factual recommendations from tracking trends, communicating to internal and external stakeholders.
n
