We are seeking a motivated and organised Parts & Inventory Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role within our manufacturing facility where you will manage the entire parts lifecycle—from initial supplier ordering right through to customer dispatch. This will not be a desk-only role, you will manage a mix of office and hands-on operational tasks. You will also provide basic technical support and parts guidance to our client base.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of our stock control system
- Maintain stock levels aligned with our active manufacturing production schedule, collaboratively establishing min/max levels jointly with Operations and Administration
- Manage the complete spare parts lifecycle: identification, quoting, invoicing, packing, and dispatch
- Oversee the receipt, unpacking, and verification of all incoming goods
- Monitor, evaluate, and drive supplier performance to optimize parts lead times
- Purchase independently up to an agreed financial limit within set stock parameters




- Set and adjust reorder points within established minimum and maximum levels

About you

- Proven experience in parts management, inventory control, or stores management within a manufacturing environment
- Robust systems capability: Experience or knowledge of inFlow Inventory Management is highly regarded, though not essential. Experience with other digital inventory/ERP systems is also an advantage
- Strong technical aptitude to accurately identify, source, and quote industrial or manufacturing spare parts
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier lead times and collaborate with internal finance teams
- A proactive problem-solver who understands the critical link between inventory availability and manufacturing uptime
