The role
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of projects across NSW. Based in Sydney, this role will require regular regional travel to support project delivery across our footprint. This is a pivotal role responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, from design development and procurement through to construction, completion and defects.
You will hold full accountability for programme, safety, cost, quality and commercial outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver commercial construction projects end-to-end, from early contractor involvement (ECI) through to construction completion
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery from design through to completion and defects
- Own project P&L;, including cost control, forecasting and margin performance
- Manage head contract obligations, variations, EOTs and commercial risk
- Oversee project procurement strategy, trade letting and subcontractor performance
- Drive programme development,
from initial delivery strategy to regular monitoring and recovery strategies
- Lead and mentor project teams including Site Managers, Cas, Coordinators, and Cadets
- Build strong client relationships and manage key stakeholder engagement
- Ensure high standards across HSE, Quality and compliance
- Promote strong Indigenous engagement and participation outcomes across projects
About You
Essential
- Degree qualified in Construction Management or a similar discipline
- 8-12+ years' experience delivering commercial construction projects
- Experience working in Design & Construct projects
- Proven track record delivering projects to programme and margin
- Strong builder-side experience with full project lifecycle exposure
- High level of commercial and contractual acumen
- Proven leadership capability across site and project teams
- Ability to manage complex stakeholders and client relationships
- Experience working across regional or remote projects (highly regarded)
