Concrete Protection Australia is seeking a motivated Trade Sales Representative to join our growing business. This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales role focused on supporting existing customers, following up sales opportunities and developing relationships with concreters, builders, contractors and other trade professionals.

We supply specialised concrete sealers, coatings, waterproofing, concrete repair products, construction materials and application equipment. Product training will be provided to help you confidently recommend the right solutions to customers.

About the Role

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assisting trade and retail customers in the showroom, over the phone and by email
n




- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products
n
- Preparing quotations, processing orders and following up customer enquiries
n
- Proactively following up quotations, leads and previous customers
n
- Developing recent trade accounts and building relationships with local contractors
n
- Maintaining regular contact with existing trade customers
n
- Working toward practical sales, customer-growth and new-account targets
n
- Keeping accurate customer and sales information in our systems
n
- Supporting showroom presentation and product displays
n
- Assisting with stock coordination when required
n

n

This is more than a retail counter position. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent service while actively identifying opportunities to grow sales and develop customer accounts.

n

About You

n

You will be well suited to this position if you:

- Have experience in sales, trade sales, account management or customer service
n
- Are confident speaking with tradespeople and business customers
n
- Enjoy following up leads and converting enquiries into sales
n
- Can build strong, long-term customer relationships
n
- Have a positive,



reliable and professional attitude
n
- Are comfortable working toward sales targets
n
- Are willing to learn technical products and their applications
n
- Can work independently while contributing to a small, supportive team
n
- Have good computer, order-processing and communication skills
n

Industry Experience

n

Experience in any of the following areas would be highly regarded:

n

n
- Building or construction products
n
- Concrete, coatings or surface preparation
n
- Waterproofing, tiling or flooring
n
- Hardware, tools or building supplies
n
- Landscaping or trade supplies
n
- Paint, sealants or protective coatings
n

n

Previous industry experience is advantageous but not essential. We will provide product training to a capable salesperson who has the right attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn.
