The Duty Manager is a pivotal role at The Colley Hotel, a dynamic multi-faceted hospitality venue located in the heart of Glenelg, SA. The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the hotel, with a focus on exceptional customer service and efficient management of the team.

What you'll be doing

- Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including food and beverage services
n
- Managing and motivating a team of front-line hospitality staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
n
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
n
- Monitoring inventory and making necessary orders to ensure adequate supplies
n
- Liaising with other department heads to coordinate hotel activities and events
n
- Assisting with the implementation of new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
n

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industry
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff at all levels
n




- Proficient in using hotel management software and point-of-sale systems, H&L; system
n
- Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including high-quality customer service, food and beverage
n
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions to resolve issues
n
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
