We are seeking a versatile operator who is confident working across a combination of plant and transport duties, including an 8t Excavator, Skid Steer/Posi-Track, Backhoe Loader, Body Truck and Tag Trailer.

About the Role

n

As a Combo Operator, you will support our civil project team across a range of plant operation, loading, unloading and transport activities.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Operating an 8t Excavator
n
- Operating Skid Steer / Posi-Track
n
- Operating a Backhoe Loader
n
- Operating a Body Truck and Tag Trailer
n
- Loading and unloading plant and equipment
n
- Transporting plant between work locations as required
n
- Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
n
- Working safely in and around road environments
n
- Working effectively within a small crew, including teams of two
n
- Working independently when required
n
- Following all project, safety, environmental and operational requirements
n
- Maintaining a high standard of care for plant and equipment
n
- Contributing to a productive and professional project team
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Construction Industry White Card
n
- Relevant competency for Backhoe operations
n
- Relevant competency for Hydraulic Excavator operations
n
- Relevant competency for Skid Steer Loader operations
n
- Relevant competency for Rigid Haul Truck operations
n




- Desirable - Current HR or HC heavy vehicle driver's licence appropriate for the truck and tag trailer combination
n
- Proven experience operating multiple types of civil plant
n
- Experience safely loading and unloading plant
n
- Civil construction experience
n
- Confidence working in and around roads and live work environments
n
- Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
n
- Ability to work effectively in a small team
n
- Ability to work reliably and independently when required
n
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
n
- Reliability, punctuality and pride in your work
n

We are particularly interested in a genuine multi-skilled operator who can move between different pieces of equipment as project requirements change.
