We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Cairns operation. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in either Auto Electrical or Transport Refrigeration who can effectively manage people, workflow and customer relationships.

About the Role
n
As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:
n

- Managing the day‐to‐day operations of the workshop
n
- Leading, mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
n
- Planning and scheduling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
n
- Ensuring high‐quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
n
- Providing technical support and guidance to the team
n
- Managing parts procurement and supplier relationships
n
- Monitoring workshop performance, efficiency and profitability
n
- Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace
n
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Trade qualifications and experience in either Auto Electrical, or Transport Refrigeration.
n
- Previous experience leading a team or supervising technicians
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
n
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
- Sound computer and administration skills
n
- Current driver's licence
n
