About the Role Myndshift Group is seeking an experienced Leading Hand HD Mechanic to join a well-established heavy equipment services provider based in Redcliffe, WA.

n

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting the daily coordination of workshop activities while continuing to complete servicing, diagnostics and repairs across heavy mobile equipment.

n

Working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm, this opportunity offers robust, consistent hours while allowing you to remain Perth-based and home every night.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to HD Mechanics
n
- Assist with allocating work and coordinating workshop priorities
n
- Complete servicing, repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance
n
- Monitor job progress and support the timely completion of work
n
- Provide technical assistance during complex repairs and fault-finding
n




- Ensure maintenance activities meet safety and quality requirements
n
- Review completed work and maintenance documentation
n
- Communicate effectively with management, team members and stakeholders
n
- Promote a positive and safety-focused workshop culture
n

About You To be considered, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant trade qualification
n
- Demonstrated experience as a Leading Hand or senior HD Mechanic
n
- Strong technical, diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
n
- Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment
n
- The ability to coordinate workloads and support a mechanical team
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Current Australian driver's licence
n
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

n

Experience within the mining, civil construction or heavy equipment industries will be highly regarded.
